From our first session, you can expect a collaborative approach where you are an active participant in your care. We will start by acknowledging the heavy, quiet accumulation of daily stress or the sudden disruption that brought you here.
Because navigating major life transitions is a process, my role isn't to hand you an immediate, one-size-fits-all answer. Instead, I am here to partner with you. Working step-by-step, we will begin developing a practical, supportive plan to help you navigate the distress of an uncertain future. Together, we will outline a thoughtful, actionable plan to dial down the intensity so you can start feeling like yourself again.
To provide flexible, accessible care, my practice operates primarily via secure telehealth, allowing you to attend sessions from the comfort and privacy of your own space anywhere in Oregon. While I do offer very limited in-person appointments in my Lake Oswego office, these are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and reserved strictly for specific clinical needs.
My practice provides integrative, full-spectrum psychiatric care for a wide range of mental health challenges. Whether you are facing a sudden crisis, managing a lifelong condition, or simply seeking a supportive space to heal, I am here to partner with you. My areas of focus include:
Midlife Transitions: Midlife is uniquely challenging, yet it rarely gets the gravity or support it deserves. For women, the transition through perimenopause and menopause is a massive physical and identity shift that can trigger sudden anxiety, mood instability, and deep exhaustion. For men, this stage of life comes with its own often-unspoken struggles—changing physical energy, shifting family dynamics, severe career burnout, and a heavy reevaluation of identity that can easily manifest as irritability, sleep disruption, or a loss of motivation.
Anxiety & Overwhelm: Quieting the acute distress of an overactive nervous system, chronic stress, and panic so you can regain a sense of calm and control.
Depression & Mood Disorders: When the heaviness simply won't lift, we work together to restore your energy, motivation, and emotional baseline.
Regardless of what brought you to my practice, when your mental well-being is disrupted, it can leave you with a persistent, exhausting feeling that 'something is just off.' You are not imagining it, and you do not have to push through it alone. Because stress, change, trauma, and chronic mental health conditions impact the entire body, our treatment plan goes beyond traditional psychiatry. Together, we will utilize an integrative framework that combines conventional, evidence-based medicine with holistic, mind-body therapies. Depending on your specific needs, your care plan may include:
Targeted Psychopharmacology: Thoughtful, conservative medication management to stabilize an overactive nervous system.
Nutritional & Supplement Guidance: Evidence-based recommendations to support brain health and physical recovery.
Lifestyle Adjustments: Practical strategies to improve sleep, manage stress, and restore daily functioning.
I believe medication is a compassionate, highly effective tool designed to build a stable bridge through a crisis, but it is rarely the entire answer. My clinical goal is always to find the lowest effective dose necessary to stabilize your system. I treat medication as a supportive partner rather than a permanent fixture. Ultimately, the goal of prescribing is to quiet the immediate distress so that your own natural resilience can take back the wheel and guide your long-term healing.
My ultimate goal is to ensure you receive the safest, most effective care possible. Because this is an outpatient practice specializing in integrative care, I am not equipped to provide the intensive, specialized framework required for certain conditions. If we determine during our consultation or initial evaluation that my practice is not the best fit, a recommendation to other expert providers within our community may be necessary so you can get the exact support you need
To ensure patient safety and the highest standard of clinical care, I am currently unable to treat or admit individuals who meet the following criteria:
Psychotic or severe personality disorders
Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID)
Autism Spectrum Disorder (specifically those requiring significant daily support needs)
Active substance use disorders (I require a minimum of six months of continuous sobriety prior to beginning treatment)
Registered sex offenders
Older adults (60+) As individuals move into this stage of life and beyond, psychiatric and medical needs often require providers who specialize in tailored psychiatric care designed to honor your health history and protect your quality of life
