Conditions and Clinical Areas of Focus

I specialize in helping individuals process the emotional weight of significant transitions. My goal is to offer compassionate, collaborative psychiatric care that helps you rediscover your inner strength, build distress tolerance, and begin feeling more hopeful about the life in front of you.

I work with adolescents, adults, and families who are open to treating the whole person. I combine conventional, evidence-based medicine with thoughtful attention to lifestyle, nutrition, stress, sleep, and the connection between physical and emotional well-being.

Clinical areas of focus include:

  • Midlife and hormonal shifts

  • Relationship and family transitions

  • ADHD and changing symptoms

  • Loss and grief

  • New health realities and disabilities

How I Work

Mindful Psychopharmacology & Deprescribing

A careful, targeted approach to psychiatric medication, with attention to what is clinically effective, sustainable, and aligned with your goals. This may include starting medication, adjusting treatment, or safely transitioning off medication when appropriate.

Medication can be a compassionate and highly effective tool for helping you move through a difficult season. It can reduce acute distress, support stability, and make it easier to access the parts of you that are already resilient.

The goal is not simply to medicate symptoms, but to create enough clarity, steadiness, and capacity for long-term healing.

Integrative Psychiatry

Integrative Psychiatry bridges traditional psychiatric care with evidence-informed lifestyle and nutritional support. Medication can be an important part of care, but true healing often requires looking at the whole picture.

Together, we may consider sleep, stress, nutrition, daily rhythms, and physiological health alongside your mental health. The goal is to support your brain and body as one connected system, helping you feel more stable, clear, and capable in your daily life.

Supportive Psychotherapy & Nervous System Regulation

A grounded, practical approach to brief supportive psychotherapy that helps steady an overactive nervous system during high-stress periods or major life transitions.

When everything feels chaotic, we do not have to begin with intensive processing. Instead, we focus first on “finding the floor,” building a baseline of stability, and developing practical tools to manage distress.

Through supportive psychotherapy, I help you feel more regulated, more supported, and better able to take the next step in front of you.

Collaborative Treatment Planning

I do not believe in a top-down approach to psychiatric care. You bring your lived experience, goals, preferences, and concerns. I bring clinical guidance, medication expertise, and integrative treatment options.

Together, we make thoughtful decisions about your care, whether that includes starting medication, adjusting your current treatment, safely deprescribing when appropriate, or adding lifestyle and supportive strategies.

My priority is to offer honest conversation, clear medical guidance, and deep respect for your personal choices, so your treatment plan feels realistic, collaborative, and aligned with the life you are trying to build.

Appointments & What to Expect

Initial Intake Appointment

Fee: $395 & up
Length of Appointment: 60–90 minutes

Your first appointment is a comprehensive evaluation of your medical and psychiatric history, current symptoms, immediate concerns, and treatment goals. This foundational session helps us begin mapping out a personalized care plan, which may include medication options, therapy recommendations, lifestyle strategies, and integrative supports.

25-Minute Follow-Up

Fee: $195 & up
Length of Appointment: 25 minutes

This focused appointment is designed to evaluate how your current treatment is working. We may review symptoms, side effects, medication effectiveness, prescription adjustments or refills, and brief supportive strategies to help you continue moving forward.

50-Minute Follow-Up

Fee: $295 & up
Length of Appointment: 50 minutes

This appointment is designed for ongoing medication management paired with psychotherapy or more in-depth supportive care. We may review your progress, adjust medications if needed, practice coping skills, and address the day-to-day factors that may be affecting your stability and healing.

The Relationship and Rapport

A thoughtful first appointment takes time. I dedicate up to 90 minutes to the initial evaluation so we can explore your symptoms, medical history, life circumstances, goals, and concerns without rushing. That context supports a more accurate diagnosis, meaningful rapport, and thoughtful next steps.

Recommendations are never mandates. My role is to explain your options and the clinical reasoning behind them so you can make informed decisions that fit your life, values, and comfort level. You are an active participant in your care, and treatment decisions are made collaboratively.

Ease and Efficiency

My practice is primarily virtual, making it easier to attend appointments from the comfort and privacy of your own home without the added time or stress of a commute.

In-person appointments are very limited, and may be considered when required or clinically appropriate.
