Getting Started
A Complimentary 15-minute Phone Consultation is a great way for us to meet and see if it makes sense to work together. It will give us an opportunity to answer basic questions about my approach and for me to learn a little about your situation and goals.
How long are your sessions? Because I utilize an integrative approach, I need time to understand your full picture, not just your symptoms.
Comprehensive Initial Psychiatric Evaluations are typically 60 to 90 minutes and can take more than one appointment. This gives us ample time to discuss your history, current challenges, and begin mapping out a collaborative care plan. Regarding ADHD consults, this is a developmental disorder with symptoms that begin in childhood and continue through a person’s life. It can be complicated to diagnose because these symptoms can look like other physical and mental health conditions, such as anxiety, trauma, brain injuries, and sleep disorders. The goal is to get the most comprehensive and accurate diagnostic picture possible by eliminating these possibilities.
The intake process involves time and can take several appointments.
