Do you take insurance? At this time, my practice is private-pay (out-of-network). However, I am deeply committed to making care accessible and am actively in the credentialing process to accept select insurance plans in the near future as well as getting set up to take HSA/FSA payments. In the meantime, I am happy to provide a detailed "superbill" that you can submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. I know navigating healthcare costs can be stressful, so please reach out with any questions. I am here to help you navigate the process.
Are appointments in-person or via telehealth? To provide flexible, accessible care, my practice operates primarily via telehealth. Through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform, you can attend your sessions from the comfort and privacy of your own space anywhere in Oregon. While I do offer very limited in-person appointments in Lake Oswego, these are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and reserved strictly for specific clinical needs.
How long are your sessions? Because I utilize an integrative approach, I need time to understand your full picture, not just your symptoms.
Initial Psychiatric Evaluations are typically 60 to 90 minutes and can take more than one appointment. This gives us ample time to discuss your history, current challenges, and begin mapping out a collaborative care plan. Regarding ADHD consults, this is a developmental disorder with symptoms that begin in childhood and continue through a person’s life. It can be complicated to diagnose because these symptoms can look like other physical and mental health conditions, such as anxiety, trauma, brain injuries, and sleep disorders. The goal is to get the most comprehensive and accurate diagnostic picture possible by eliminating these possibilities. The process involves time and can take several intake appointments.
Follow-up & Medication Management appointments are typically 20-50 minutes, ensuring we have enough time to discuss your progress, practice supportive coping skills, and adjust treatments without feeling rushed.
What ages do you treat? I treat adolescents and adults between the ages of 12 and 60. Because later life stages often require highly specialized geriatric psychopharmacology, I do not admit patients over the age of 60.
How do I get started? The first step is to schedule a free 15-minute consultation call. This gives us a chance to connect, discuss what you are looking for, and make sure my practice is the right fit for your needs before we schedule an intake.
