Our society is highly efficient at processing life's logistics. But when your reality is suddenly rewritten, the actual human being is often left entirely unguided through the emotional fallout. I am dedicated to thorough diagnosis and comprehensive, integrative treatments.
My path into mental health was forged at the exact intersection of personal survival and professional observation. I created this practice to step into that gap, to be the grounded, safe space you need when your "old normal" has vanished and you are trying to find your footing in a new chapter.
I specialize in holistically supporting the whole person through the emotional fallout of life’s sharpest pivots, health crises, and the unique, often-dismissed challenges of midlife. Whether you are navigating the acute biological transitions of perimenopause or the quiet, heavy burnout and shifting identities, this chapter can completely destabilize your nervous system and your sense of self.
I provide the grounded, integrative care needed to help you stop white-knuckling your way through these transitions and step into a renewed, hopeful chapter of wellness.
Before becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, my clinical foundation was built across the most intense environments in healthcare. Working in cardiac, ICU, labor and delivery, and hospice, I guided patients and their families through the absolute extremes of the human experience, from the shock of acute hospitalization and the unpredictable traumas of childbirth to the delicate threshold of end-of-life care.
Later, as a corporate Nurse Case Manager working in disability and behavioral health, I saw firsthand how executive pressure and medical leave can completely destabilize a person's financial security and sense of identity.
Together, these experiences have taught me when the foundational pieces of your life or your inner world are suddenly turned upside down, you need more than just logistical management. You need a provider who understands the deep psychological weight of that shift.
I don't just understand major life disruptions clinically. I know what it feels like to have the rug pulled out from beneath my own life.
In my mid-20s, my world was completely upended. A devastating cancer diagnosis brought the terrifying reality of a serious health crisis, medical and surgical trauma, abrupt hormone shifts, and the heavy grief of losing my reproductive future. As the compounding stress led to the end of my marriage, I was left to navigate recovery as a single parent, all while grieving the sudden, unexpected loss of my own primary parent.
That season of survival was a masterclass in the trauma and immense grief that accompany unexpected life disruptions. It shapes every aspect of how I practice today. Because I have walked through my own darkest chapters, I am uniquely equipped to hold space for yours, and I am dedicated to helping you move through it.
The patience and dedication I bring to my practice extend directly into my personal life. Outside the office, I lean into mindful, creative hobbies that remind me to slow down. You can usually find me snapping photos, painting with watercolors, beachcombing, and traveling.
I also have a deep, unapologetic love for dogs. I spend a good portion of my downtime catering to the whims of my own very stubborn dachshund, and I actively support dachshund rescues whenever I can.
